Hey guys! I was at a gun show yesterday and got some cool stuff. In the photo below, I am wearing 18 feet of belted 30-06 for the 1919 browning machine gun (12 feet full length and a 6 foot cut one). All of them have ww2 dates (it took a VERY long time to confirm that). Every 5 rounds is a ret tip tracer. It's going to be really cool for my display. I'm going to put the 12 foot full length one in a .30 cal ammo box to make a ww2 ammo box for the 1919 browning machine gun just like it would be in ww2. I also got a 1944 mosin pu sniper from the izhevsk factory but thats not for this forum haha.

With ammo being so pricy these days what did you have to pay for the belts?

I got a REALLY good deal imo. I payed 130 bucks for both the belts.

Great ammo grab! Looks like WW II cloth belt. Rifle is nice also.

Upadate: Today I got a WW2 .30 cal box (canco) and I put the 12 foot belt in it. I think it works really well for the display and it's cool to have a box in its original WW2 configuration. Enjoy!
