This Landing type craft is numbered #742. What type is it and possible port location.

It's a type of LCT (Landing Craft Tank) or TLC (Tank landing Craft) that was used as an amphibious assault craft for landing tanks on beachheads and is seen on land in the photo...Bodes

The port is Yokosuka, Japan.

Tugs move USS Oklahoma City (CLG-5) alongside USS Providence (CLG-6.)
