varifleman Posted January 4, 2023 Share #1 Posted January 4, 2023 Here for your perusal is my Colt US Army Model of 1896 serial number 141041 made around 1900. Six inch barrel, six shot, 38 Colt caliber double action military issue revolver. Model of US Army 1896 on butt with serial number. It has a mirror bore so I'm looking forward to shooting it. I've ordered the Colt Archive letter so should have delivery information in 4-5 months.
Charlie Flick Posted January 4, 2023 Share #2 Posted January 4, 2023 That is a fine example of an unmodified Model of 1896 .38 DA. Few exist in that condition today. A very handsome piece. Charlie
