Just added this tiny lapel CIB to the collection. It has very good detail to be so small. It does have a nut for the back.

BILL THE PATCH

That is small, you know what they say, it's not the sz that matters.

Here’s a few more I received in the mail this week, I’m glad the post office is still open!
First is a miniature bullion badge, the badge itself only being 2” wide.

Next is a Vietnam era theater made badge, subdued but with a blue background.

A Laurel Leaf one, nice, just like this one without the Lt Blue background.

Great badge Jim! Those Ludlow badges are the best English made metal badges in my opinion.

What criteria are these for?

Never knew they existed.

The bullion is on dark brown.

Japanese or Korean work?

I'd guess Japanese based on the pattern of the rifle, but I've never seen a wreath pattern like that before.  Not sure I've seen a definitively Korean made bullion CIB before, so tough to know for sure.  My vote is Japanese

Thanks Travis.  I also have one from J.J. B'Ham that is OK.  Then I have this one.  I believe it's British, but unmarked.  It is in my opinion nicer than either of the other two.

What is your opinion of it?  Brit?

Thank you Jim, someday I’ll post the entire group.

What a career this warrior Porter had.

Porter, he was in WWII then?, cause we see the 2nd Award CIB there.

Nice badge, appears to have most of the silver finish still intact

Is there a website or FB page that might help me identify the period my CIB's were produced?  I'm looking to thin out a few areas of my collection and would like to keep only the CIB's from the WWII and Korean War era.

I am aware there are books out there, but I don't think buying a book would be worthwhile since I don't really intend to buy anything more in the future.

Thanks for any assistance with this, it is appreciated.
