I saw another badge like this posted on the forum and have wanted one ever since - wreath has been filed down and polished. Also, hard to tell from the pics but badge has been slightly bent to give it a subtle curve. I've seen airborne wings with a similar treatment to the wing and chute. Back of the badge is nothing special, WWII era, "sterling" marked.

Very nice badge!

Maybe you saw my one, i found it a few years ago here in germany with an metal detektor in a small lake.

Greetings Stefan

Yes, I think this is the one that sent me on my search! Very nice badge. Can you post a picture of the back?

Here is a recent pick-up, a 2nd award in bullion. I will have to take a picture of the back later on. A ribbon bar was glued to the back that has clutch fasteners.

Not much luck with metal badges lately, but I did get another bullion badge today. This is a pretty interesting one. Embroidered on tan canvas, blue cotton background. Two different tones of bullion wire. Paper backing. Does not appear to have been sewn on uniform. Overall length is 3.5". I'm thinking the wreath was made smaller than normal to save on bullion wire and/or time? Seller had this listed as possibly from CBI theater.

I wanted to share these two "NBICo Japan" CIBs.

Both appear to be made of a bronze base metal and have a silver finish. One has been polished to the extent of wearing the silver finish off exposing the base metal, along with much of the detail of the wreath.

Those are two beautiful Bullions rd.The 2nd Award example, would this be a 50s one (for WWII, Korea vet) or a 60s one (Korea, Vietnam vet)?[/

Bullion is nice and bright, plus being clutch back, I think this is late '60s - early '70s

All badges are made of Sterling - the only "newer" one is the 2nd award "B&H Simon G-I"

All other bades are just marked with "STERLING"

Here is a badge with interesting markings. V-21 (Vanguard) & NS Meyer. Not sure what the IIC means. Vanguard bought the NS Meyer Co in 2000 so that could explain the double marking. This badge was on eBay recently and I got lost in my watch list somehow so I missed out - but I pulled these pictures.
