Richard101 Posted March 3, 2009 Share #1 Posted March 3, 2009 Hi i have an unusual US ring dont know much about it wondered if anyone else has any ideas . As you can see by the picture it has a pink stone with justice weight scails engraved on the surface around the stone are the words US FORCES GERMANY with 2 stars at the start and finish. On the left side is an enamel 82nd badge and the title under it (82nd airborne) and on the right side an enamel 7th corps badge and the title under it (7th corps). the ring is made of silver and very heavy and a large size. i was told by the person who gave it me the man who owned id was at the nurenburg trials as a lawyer. any advice would be great THANKS IN ADVANCE RICHARD
craig_pickrall Posted March 3, 2009 Share #2 Posted March 3, 2009 The scale represent his branch of service )JAG). The stone color is most likely his birth stone. The 2 patches represent units he served in. If there are initials engraved in the ring you might be able to track him down.
Bluehawk Posted March 4, 2009 Share #3 Posted March 4, 2009 On the inside band of the ring, what inscriptions/letters/numbers/marks do you see?
