M327B M1 helmet production date with 1967 liner

Good day,

Here is a M327B heatstamped M1 with a liner dated 21 july 1967.  It has a Mitchell cover contract: DSA 100 69 C 1921.  I assume me that 69 is the year of contract.

The interior of the liner is different from the WW era liners I have.  There is a stamp that looks like the Firestone logo and a 28.

Is the helmet a MCCord?  Can we estimate the production year of the shell with the heat stamp? Why is there an anchor logo on the fastener of the helmet strap?

thank you!

P64 liner on a 1965 (if I remember correctly) contract McCord, the last contract McCord did.

The anchor logo is the log of North and Judd, the chinstrap manufacturer.

Thank you very much elh1311,

I will read about the P64 liner which is new to me.

I can assume it is a Vietnam era helmet.

Regards
