2/6 Helmet - New addition to my WWI collection

I have seven 2nd Infantry Division helmets in my collection, but I have been searching for a 5th or 6th Marine helmet with and EGA (which I didn't have) and finally ran across one. I have a 3/6 helmet in my collection but no EGA on that one. However, as many of you know, you must be very cautious and know what you are looking with these helmets. I didn't feel comfortable on my own on this one but I am very thankful to Kevin (WARGUY) for some back and forth discussions and sharing pictures before making this purchase. I finally pulled the trigger and received the helmet in the mail today. It is a 2/6 Brodie Helmet with the brown tint and EGA, I am very happy to finally have one in my collection.

updated glass case pictures. The 2nd Infantry Division has taken over my glass case. I also added a picture of my framed items above the case. It has taken over part of my living room. The spare room has 3 uniforms and 2 medal groupings from the 2nd Infantry Division.

Great addition and very nice display. I love the Sheaffer pens display case. Very fitting to the period.

Good evening. I'm a newbie to the forum and I saw that you all have experience with WW1 helmets. My dad had one in his possession and we (sisters and I) are trying to determine the history of it and potentially to sell it. I have gotten some assistance from the forum but when I searched and found this post I thought I could send the pictures we have and see what you all thought about it and it's potential background. It's been stored away at my dad's since the 80's and probably came to him from his father, who was an auctioneer and  he likely bought it from estate sales he used to do. Any guidance you could provide would be appreciated. Thanks Brian
