One explanation could be that your envelope was stamped and canceled by the OSS Morale Operations Branch but had not yet been addressed by the time the operation was ended. You may want to contact USMF member Herbf, assuming he is still a member, and ask his opinion. He has written a very detailed article on Operation Cornflakes that is posted on the Psywarrior website (http://www.psywarrior.com/Cornflakes2.html).
