A few years ago a friend of mine wanted me to scan these for him. They are pics his grandfather took while in the Pacific Theater. He was in a Navy Construction Battalion (Seabees). Pics are mostly of him and his buddies goofing around at camp doing stuff like reading the funny papers and pretending to have a knife fight in front of their laundry hung out to dry. Also some pics with the locals and one that appears to be a bunch of sailors all per5ched atop some kind of pen or arena or something? Possibly a cockfight? I have no clue what they are witnessing but I wish I knew what it was. Anyway, here they are.
