Is this gas mask a WWI gas mask?

I was planning on purchasing this mask if it is truly from WWI. I’m dipping into WWI I’m new to it. Im strongest in WWII.  Any help would be great.

Yes, it is a WWI pattern. The face mask may be dried out, so take that in consideration if you’re going to put it onto mannequin.

 

the card inside the envelope may have the vet’s name and dates if used.
