In June we received the Purple Heart and other medals of a man who was severely wounded on D-Day resulting in his discharge from the Army in November 1944 (and his premature death in 1964). Yesterday when I got to my desk his NY CSC was there, which includes the latter awarding it to him. His CSC card was found online.
