Here's an extensive page on the 134th Medical Regiment, doesn't seem to be allotted to the New York National Guard when it was formed, despite it having cadre from the NYNG 102nd Medical Regiment. It was redesignated as a Group, 134th Medical Group, "134th Medical Regiment, Camp Upton, New York, reorganized and redesignated 134th Medical Group, 15 September 1943" So the Color probably dates post war, when unit formed u again in like 1946-47 now as a battalion.

Some additional medical flags in my collection. The large Red Cross flag is a 1918 dated Mare Island Navy Yard (Spanish Flu Pandemic era).

Interesting Guidon

307th Airborne Medical Company was part of the 82nd Airborne In WW2 Served in Sicily/France/Holland/Belgium. I have several reproduction guidon for the sistercompany the 326th AMC for the 101st Airborne.

The 326 AMC started with many men from the 307 as the 307th Medical Battalion was used to make the 307 AMC and the 326 AMC

The 307/B guidon I show here is WW2 vintage. Thanks for your info about the unit.

WW1 vintage 1st Evacuation Hospital guidon. This flag is wool, measures 27" x 41" and has a very old QM label. It's in excellent condition for its advanced age of 105+ years.
