P-59A Posted October 16, 2022 Share #1 Posted October 16, 2022 This is a post Korean War issued PH medal grouping to Pvt, Raymond E. L. Kelly. On theback of the PH certificate holer is a ink transpher of Kelly's request for his awards. I havent been able to read all of it because you have to read it in a mirror, but it looks like on 10SEPT50 he was a MP and was sent to the front lines and manned a crewed machine gun. It looks like his wounds were from a mortor round.

P-59A Posted October 17, 2022 Author Share #3 Posted October 17, 2022 This is Kelly's obit. On the ink transfer I saw he listed his birth place as Indiana on April 25, 1930. https://www.legacy.com/obituaries/tributes/obituary.aspx?n=raymond-e-lewis-kelley&pid=183811685
