Army ranks 1920-1945

Can someone post pictures of all the army ranks from 1920-1945 including the unofficial ones from 1920 and the specialist 1st through 6th class ? Please include the ones with specialty marks .

Unofficial insignia are just that, so there's no way anyone can come up with anything comprehensive on specialty marks.

I think your best option is to find the book "U.S. Army Soldiers and Their Chevrons" by LTC(r) William K. Emerson. There are images of many of the Chevrons you are asking for.

 

The US Army NCO Museum has a large collection of the various chevrons (To include the unofficial ones) but currently the collection is being moved to a new facility and the artifacts are in storage. I am the curator of this museum and when we take the Chevron collection out of storage, they will be placed in map case drawers for easier reference and research by eras, but this will be in a few years after our museum redesign and rebuild.
