27Division18 Posted September 29, 2022 Share #1 Posted September 29, 2022 Are these bandage packets that would have been used by a WW2 army medic, or perhaps later?
jayhawkhenry Posted October 6, 2022 Share #2 Posted October 6, 2022 Those look like they may have come from an industrial first aid kit, since there are no government stock numbers. The most commonly seen are from the Bell Telephone System and various railroads. Here is a photo of some of the contents of WWII vehicle first aid kit and an aircraft kit. You can see the stock numbers on the packages. It is interesting to note that the Aircraft Kit contains items from the 40's up to 60's

Browninggunner688 Posted October 16, 2022 Share #4 Posted October 16, 2022 The OP's dressing boxes are good WW2 examples, I have several Davis 12 and 24 unit kits, a couple unissued and they contain these dressings.
