Real or repo WW2 nape band

Hi guys

Came across this OD3 nape strap lying in a box tonight while searching in one of my cupboards. A few years ago when I first started collecting I remember buying a reproduction nape strap but removed it when I managed to acquire the genuine thing.

Is this that repo or is it a genuine nape strap?
There are no markings on the press studs.

I believe it looks original. The contract number is a bit different than other gem dandy's I've seen but I don't all of the contracts handed out for liner components.

Nickman

Thanks that’s very helpful. I’ve also found a WW2 liner in my collection without a nape strap so now it’s got a home.

thanks again

I had a look in Pieter Oosterman's book. It shows an example with contract number

W 199 QM-33827 which dates it to may 28th, 1943. The way it is stamped

looks identical to yours.
