Survival Posted September 23, 2022 Share #1 Posted September 23, 2022 Would like to ask for help to ID a couple Vietnam War subdued patches on a jungle jacket. I know one is a Brigade patch but not sure which Brigade. Don't know about the other one. Many thanks in advance for your help. The first one is actually pointing to the side rather then down as shown in the picture.

1sg Posted February 24, 2023 Share #5 Posted February 24, 2023 The black embroider onto OD twill patches were the forerunner to the fully embroidered green& black for the leaf camo uniform. They were made only during 1966-67. They were replaced because they just didn't hold up to the rigors of being on a combat uniform. They're becoming their own field for collectors. Hope this helps.
