Naval Aid Auxiliary Rates

This is a Hollywood actress from WW2. The organization was a civilian volunteer group. I had seen the rate before, but couldn’t place it. Also of note, it seems like the chevron is fully embroidered rather than applies.

it is Gene Tierney in a Naval Aid Auxiliary uniform. The rate is covered on page 103 of the 1833-2008 edition of John Stacey’s book.
