What I have found out is they are probably from a UH1 Helicopter in the late 60's, the gun was a XM140 (later called the XM130). The subsystem on the Helicopter was the XM 30. The caliber is 30x100B, any other or corrected info would be great. The pic of the UH1 shows the links on the ground. Links are marked XM 23 Link to comment
