Guest andrewk Posted September 6, 2022 #1 Posted September 6, 2022 Hi All, I came across this forum after I purchased an F-105 ejection seat that I plan to restore. I'd like to get my seat as "cosmetically complete" as I can, and I'm missing some parts that I'm hoping someone in this community might have and be willing to sell. My seat has a manufacturing date of 3/5/1959, and while it's a little rough it's mostly there: Things like the cushions I have no problem making myself, but there are a few things I am hoping to find: Survival Kit (empty case is fine) Harness hardware (I have the main receiver/latch, but none of the other buckles) - I'd also be interested to hear if anyone has a good source for new strap/webbing Parachute (I believe this used a BA-24, but BA-22 is compatible?) Any technical documentation (I've found the flight manual for the F-105, but parts diagrams etc. would be really helpful) And lastly if anyone knows if there was a particular standard or spec for painting in this era? Just so I can get reasonably close on color/gloss level Thanks!
phantomfixer Posted September 6, 2022 #2 Posted September 6, 2022 for sale on the forum...then source the shoulder straps
phantomfixer Posted September 6, 2022 #3 Posted September 6, 2022 The parachute would be the BA-15 or BA-18 here is a link to a 105 seat https://www.aircraftresourcecenter.com/awa01/501-600/awa570-F-105Seat-Raphael/00.shtm
