Absolutely mysterious khaki M1926 uniform. Help

Hi. A few years ago I bought this Model 1926 uniform. I had never seen anything like it. No Officer because there are no bands at the bottom of the sleeves. I thought of a private purchase of a non-commissioned officer. No hook for the belt. In my photo collection, however, I have nothing with the lower pockets of the pointed jacket for EM. The jacket is named Albert Smith and is of very good production. The color is the most distinctive khaki / brown of the classic seen in many photos of troops in Panama, Hawaii, the Philippines and China.

If you can help me understand more. I wish I could restore it properly.
