1940s, early WW2 hunting knife?

Hi guys.

 

Here is nice photo of VF-6? pilot from 1942 year. Small detail catches my eye - hunting knife used by one pilot:

Colored spacers, kind of "bird" pommel - similar to Western knifes? Anyone recognize type knife? Maybe a Marbles?

Very cool photo, as you say love the small details. Not sure about the knife, but check out how low the holster hangs on the pilot on the left. Maybe a cavalry holster? Thank you for posting.

Yes it is Cav.holster as well. Nice one!
