Yeager-BK Posted August 12, 2022 #1 Posted August 12, 2022 Hi all I wanted to start a thread on plastic DUI manufacturers during WW2 and early occupation period. Honestly, I have the DUI and couldn't recall the unit, had to Wikipedia it, and used the current unit name. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/15th_Signal_Brigade_(United_States)
patches Posted August 22, 2022 #7 Posted August 22, 2022 Here's a pair of the 303rd Ordnance on an Ike, has the patch of the ETO Advance Base as it's parent organization. Think it was a Battalion rather then a Regiment in WWII right? It's one of risqué ones LOL, there is a Chick modeling it on the Bay, one of those vendors who gets girls to wear the item up for sale LOL.
patches Posted August 22, 2022 #8 Posted August 22, 2022 And I believe a shot of these 303rd Ords, or a completely different one, dunno know, but it is from the same vendor as the Ike, maybe he had a spare one to sell. (Anyone interested in the Ike or the unit crest just keyword 303 Ordnance on the Bay.)

tredhed2 Posted August 25, 2022 #11 Posted August 25, 2022 Here are some German made painted on plastic DIs. To date, there are no known plastic Japanese made DIs. 116th Cav Rcn Sq (top) and 839th AAA Bn (middle) 465th AAA Bn (bottom). More to come.
