WW1 32nd ID uniform.

Was lucky to get this uniform from the woodwork in an estate sale. The buttons are made of plastic with a star on the back, and it has a a sergeant rank on its right sleeve. Only saw part of it from the pictures shown, but was immediately struck by the bullion overseas and wound chevron. Also of note is how the 32nd patch was sewn on at an angle, and not straight up as I have seen with a few other examples. Sadly no identification or collar pins on it, but I'm more than happy to cross this off my bucket list!

Nice find!- I think they refer to those buttons as "vegetable ivory"- and I agree unusual to see with the angled patch!

that is a very nice private purchase coat. there may be a tag with the soldier's name in one of the patch pockets or the inside pocket.

I did find the inside pocket, but there was sadly no name.

Very nice tunic! Great find!  One thing though, I believe that the red chevron on the sleeve is a discharge chevron instead of a wound chevron.
