Any CW experts care to give me a ballpark fair market value or share any other thoughts? My interest is 20th century military, so I could use some assistance!

This is a wartime ID Tag, they were available for purchase from merchants that followed the armies around. Yours is a particularly nice example as it has: the McClellan shield up top, battle honors on the reverse, belonged to a NCO, and a Zouave regiment.

Quick research tells me that Jameson mustered out in May of 63.

I'd say this is a 1700-2000 tag. Dealers and auction houses would probably be able to get more. But that's the range I would pay in a private sale.

Nice tag!

Oh my gosh that’s for the 10th National Zouaves a very hard to find regiment and a great 2nd Corps unit. Super piece!
