pmanton Posted July 30, 2022 Share #2 Posted July 30, 2022 It is a 1913 Patton Saber. It was designed by Patton when he was a Lieutenant. At one time they were pretty common.

sundance Posted July 31, 2022 Share #4 Posted July 31, 2022 Hey, if you have an American sword collection you've got to have a Patton Sabre.
Spathologist Posted August 1, 2022 Share #5 Posted August 1, 2022 Unfortunately, that particular saber is not going to appeal to many collectors. It's the most common year of manufacture, in rather worn condition with poorly-repaired damage, a blade it appears someone took a grinder to, and wrong colors of paint everywhere.
