Blood Pressure Cuff (Sphygmomanometer)

The Sphygmomanometer or blood pressure cuff is used for measuring blood pressure, typically consisting of an inflatable rubber cuff which is applied to the arm and connected to a column of mercury next to a graduated scale, or calibrated pressure gauge.  It is used by increasing and gradually releasing the pressure in the cuff, to measure systolic and diastolic blood pressure.

The portable set is used at aid station  level and above, but can be used in the field as needed if supplied. The case for the set is issued separately.  This set  is from 1978.
