I recently bought an old blue artillery officers grouping (pants, belt, sword holder, tunic and a veterans medal) but I’ve hit a stump in my research. I can’t figure out what tunic it is what so ever. I know it’s Original due to its markings. Maybe it was Tailored or field repaired?

That is a costume company stamping.    Quite possibly a put-together, as a field grade officer (colonel) should have 2 rows of buttons.  Those are some really nice looking shoulder straps.  Not sure of era of those though.
