Blue paint and cork in the larger hole of the bottom is as it should be for a nice practice Mk2 Grenade. When these were used in live fire practice at the range a small amount of black powder was in them, and the fuses were live. The corked bottom was to be blown out and the smoke would indicate the location of the grenade's impact point. Link to comment
