I don't know that much about helmets but I think this is an early WW2 helmet or could it be a civil defense type helmet? The only markings I could find was a heat treatment number of 8A. TheGoose Posted August 1, 2022 Share #5 Posted August 1, 2022 As stated above, this is an M1917A1 Kelly produced by McCord in 1941. McCord began production in February 1941.
