Very nice, tough pistol to find in any condition. My friend has a 1914 that he changed the barrel to make it correct.

I would love to find a correct barrel, but I've been looking for several years and haven't found one yet.  Pricey barrels, but it would be worth it.

I find those sort of comfortably worn weapons to be far more appealing than anything pristine.

The pristine ones are undoubtedly more valuable but this one has nothing to be ashamed of!

 

If you find a correct barrel I'd save the one that's in it now - it's likely been there a long time.
