Eric Queen Posted July 18, 2022 #1 Posted July 18, 2022 This was a gift from a friend of mine. A very cool piece which was given to Clarence Pfaffenberger (see article below). I am trying to figure out who gave it to him. Can anyone help me with the name? Thanks in advance. EQ
Allan H. Posted July 18, 2022 #2 Posted July 18, 2022 Going out on a limb here Eric, but it sort of looks like "Olive Erlanger." I believe that the "Erlanger" is accurate. The Olive, I admit is a stretch.... Allan
Blacksmith Posted July 18, 2022 #3 Posted July 18, 2022 It’s Mrs. Alene Erlanger, the creator of the Dogs for Defense program.

Eric Queen Posted July 18, 2022 Author #6 Posted July 18, 2022 Great !! Thank you both so much. Much appreciated. Makes this a really interesting little artifact in my opinion. Pfaffenberger was the regional director of DFD (Bay Area, CA) and played a significant role in the establishment of the War Dog Training Center in San Carlos (where I lived for 20 years) Thanks again.
Eric Queen Posted July 19, 2022 Author #7 Posted July 19, 2022 A couple more. Just found an original copy of that Pathfinder magazine and ordered it. Thanks again.
