An Unlisted Chicago Illinois WWI Service Medal

Here we have a Masonic Service medal for members of Chicago’s Progressive Lodge #954 A.F.+A.M. named to Alexander Young. This medal is unreported in both Small’s and Planck’s WWI local medals books. The medal is signed “F. Whetefield, Chicago. Who as far as I can tell is also an unknown. The medal is gold plated bronze and suspended as a watch fob from a black ribbon. Any ideas?
