Found four of the iconic B-5 life preservers in one box

all are 1949 dated Willis & Geiger

two have the recognition light pouch attached to the waist strap

all have serviceable tags dated 1955

one has a shipping tag for the lot, and one had 8x 11 shipping order listing the B-5s and other gear very faded and not pictured

it appears this lot was redirected

Nice find.  Those dang light pockets are usually tricky as they tend to dry out and the snaps will pull through easy.  Dont ask me how I know..

RC, indeed… to find four from the same USAF shipment, wherever they were going was cool

Mohawk, one soft and flexible, the other is as you describe, strictly hands off. I thought they were cool.. some had the CO2 levers still safety wired..

Derek.. add them to the collection of course😁✌️One is one eBay, for a stupid price, pm me if you need one

I have a soft spot for B-5s✌️
