Let's start with the first general's star. The maker's mark is for Uncas Manufacturing of Providence, RI. The company has been in business since 1911. Based on the pins on the back, I would guess that this star was made in the 1950's.

The pin back general's star was made by Amico. It most definitely looks like it could have been made in WWII.

The five star general's insignia was made by His Lordship Products (HLP). The insignia probably dates to the 1960's. The last soldier to wear 5 Stars was General Omar Bradley. He passed away in 1981. Now, I am not saying this was Omar Bradley's. I recall during the Desert Storm era, there was an article that came out in Stars and Stripes that said that even though the insignia hasn't been worn in a period of time, the rank is still a popular seller at Clothing Sales and that the army was purchasing over 100 sets a year. This would have been around 1991. I'm sure they are still being made today by someone out there.

I hope this helps.

For what it's worth, I completely agree with Allan's assessment.
