It was a tremendous leap forward. With the aftermarket cumberbunds it was night and day. Better in some ways than the IOTV. Without all of the add on pieces though. The DAPS was kind of annoying with how it sometimes got in the way of moving your arms freely, and the extra weight and thickness were not appreciated. Same with the add on side SAPI pouches.
