I picked up this book at the local flea market this weekend. The bookplate and rubber stamp on the inside indicates this is probably from the shipboard library of the USS Las Vegas Victory supply ship. I can't find a whole lot about her except that she was launched in late 1944, took part in the Okinawa invasion and was decommissioned in 1946.

Does anyone have any knowledge of ship libraries or have experiences about them to share? I'd love to hear any.
