ETO husband and wife

Major Ford and his wife Jeanne. He was the commander of the 130th Armored Maintenance Battalion, 8th Armored division. She was in the 3rd General Hospital. The musette bag and canteen were hers. The fun part are the dog tags. They apparently married during the War as one set has her maiden name, and the other her married name.

Love the grouping! Fayette is waaaaay at the top West of the State . . . directly West from Toledo. (Had to look it up, as Fulton County isn't somewhere I often look into!)
