manayunkman Posted June 21, 2022 Share #2 Posted June 21, 2022 Are the 40s both printed? The one patch looks post war German made. What do the backs of the DIs look like without the clutches? Im sure someone will be able to tell you something about the PH.
postmanusnac Posted June 21, 2022 Share #3 Posted June 21, 2022 Could be Alexander William Nagy (1924-1955). He served from 43-46 and then 48-51 and received a PH. Looks like he was in Tank Co., 3rd Armored Cav.

BigJohn#3RD Posted June 22, 2022 Share #9 Posted June 22, 2022 WOW, This is very cool, the man grew up in my home town of Frenchtown, NJ and went to Kingwood, NJ School; the High School had moved to another part of the county but I attended the Kingwood Elementary School K-8. This is awesome to see this about a soldier who came from my area. However, it is sad to note that he and his son were killed by a Drunken Driver the year I was born. Thanks for posting this group Tankpatches, and thank you to postmanusnac for digging up the story of this man. Best regards, John
