I just added this pencil portrait to my collection the other day and was wanting to get some opinions on the time period for this. The shoulders of the uniform make me think it could be Indian Wars or maybe Spanish-American War although the facial hair screams (at least, to me) Civil War.

Anyone have any guesses?
