FYI: Guardians of the Galaxy's ship uses real ejection seats (dead, and prop-bespangled, but real ones.)

HI guys,

 

So I was flipping channels this afternoon, and caught a few minutes of Avengers: Endgame.  Happened to be one of the sections with the Guardians of the Galaxy characters on their ship.

 

It has 6 front seat positions, 3 pairs of side-by-sides.  They showed some sideviews, and what should appear but the infamous yellow 'safety pin here' sticker on the side of an Escapac IG-2, out of an A-7. (there have been a lot of them floating around lately.)  So it looks like the forward pair of seats are Escapac IG-2s,  and the middle pair are Martin-Bakers of some variety.  (Heavily frankensteined, but you can see the drogue 'shute carrier turned into a neck-rest, with the entire unit laid back a bit, and a new fake back pad installed to bring them back to some 'normal' recline angle.)  Don't know what the rear pair are (They're different.), but I'd suspect Martin Bakers again.  Couldn't get a good look.  Definitely not Escapacs.

 

For whatever any of this is worth to the trivia obsessed among us.  Now you know.
