It is jeweler-made, unmarked, the diameter of a silver dollar with a T-bar pin (pin replaced) with a cut out catch. It is hard to see in the image but the base of the catch is inserted through the front of the badge. Stan Phillips illustrates a similar badge, but with an applied engineer castle, in his CW Corps Badges book (p. 151) with a possible connection to the 23rd Corps.
