LtDan Posted June 9, 2022 #1 Posted June 9, 2022 Hello, I recently purchased this photo of a group of aviators. It was dated February 7, 1919 and was taken at a dinner of the Aero Club of America. Many of the gentlemen attending are wearing their uniforms and WW1 wings. I was wondering if anyone here recognizes any of these individuals ? The bearded man on the right is Augustus Post. The captain seated in the center looks like Eddie Rickenbacker. I would like to identify others if possible. If there is a better place to post this photo, please let me know. Thanks, Dan
rathbonemuseum.com Posted September 4, 2022 #2 Posted September 4, 2022 Sorry no one has responded. Usually that means "huh, we don't know either." @cwnorma and @CliffP are your best guides for guessing WWI pilot faces. This also may have been printed in a newspaper and worth checking to see.
