madler Posted June 7, 2022 #1 Posted June 7, 2022 Hello, I've been trying to identify the three ribbons that were in my grandfather's set from WW2. He was an x-ray tech, and served in Europe, Japan, and the Philippines. He was from Chicago, but he had trained in Tennessee.
BILL THE PATCH Posted June 7, 2022 #2 Posted June 7, 2022 They don't look like any WW2 ribbons I ever seen. Are you sure it's WW2?
madler Posted June 7, 2022 Author #3 Posted June 7, 2022 I would think so, as I am not aware that he had served in any other conflict. His records show that he was inducted on 22 December 1943, and was in active service on 12 January 1944. He was discharged on 11 May 1946. I took a new scan of the ribbon bar where I found these, and attached it here.
