usmedalman Posted June 2, 2022 Share #1 Posted June 2, 2022 Came across what I think may be a WWII period or later USCG officer group with I think tracks his career from a cadet to LT(jg). But I am baffled by the small CPO(?) patch. Could it be a Academy cadet rank? Can anyone help ID it? Am I close on the time frame?
David Minton Posted June 2, 2022 Share #2 Posted June 2, 2022 All the boards except maybe one look like post-WWII curved style. The officer boards look more recent than the cadet boards to me at least. I don’t believe the chevrons are USCG. Maybe they are cadet related, but don’t think so. Justin B. Posted June 2, 2022 Share #3 Posted June 2, 2022 The chevrons are for a USCG Academy cadet petty officer. I don't know the timeline on them, but this is from the 1950s:

sigsaye Posted June 3, 2022 Share #5 Posted June 3, 2022 The 2 blue boards on the left are post 1975 when the CG changed uniforms.
