Hi guys. I believe I have found out who unknown "American" body X-77, who is buried in Draguignan, southern France, really is.

I present all my results in this video:

If you are able to have any influence on the Department of Defense to get them to identify this man (via a Congressman, an article, documentary, etc), your help would of course be very welcome.

Jean-Loup excellent vidéo on how you track people down.

I spent the summer in Grasse in 1972 and would go to Canne every day so it’s very interesting to me.

Thanks 🙂

What were you doing in Grasse?

After my summer job at Europort in 1972  I went to visit friends from Belgium who were on holiday in Grasse.

They had some kind of manor there and

I spent 3 weeks going to Cannes, Monte Carlo and Nice.

Found several stores that sold Militaria and had some of the best times of my life.

The father of the family was an officer in Brigade Piron and lost both of his legs during the war when his jeep hit a mine.

For years I had his helmet, a US helmet with Belgian roundels on both sides.

It sounds like them were the good old days when militaria was still abundant and the vets were young and numerous.
In those days this case I was working on would probably have been solved much quicker and not be answered with such incompetence and hypocrisy.

It was one of my most interesting wonderous and scary vacations of my life.

I was 16 and my Belgian friend was 19.

I hope something can be done. I've watched many if not most of your videos, definitely one of my favorites. Kudos.

There is a man who comes to a few military shows each year who works for the Department of Defense and helps to identify remains around the world.  I am not sure if I have his contact information or not, but I will follow this thread and bring this video to his attention at the next opportunity.

That does not guarantee any immediate action will take place, but I always speak with him for about a half hour at shows, and I know he would be interested in this at least.  I will do my best to assist.

Whether your hypothesis turns out to be correct or not, you have done good work.  I appreciate your efforts.

Thanks guys. I would say my hypothesis has a 95% chance of being correct for the X-77 body, and 50% chance of being correct for the body that is buried in the French cemetery.

I have turned lucky and a journalist is preparing an article in a large french paper that should be published soon.

In the meantime I have also received an expert report by a forensic medicine professor and a genetics experts saying clearly that all the French Ministry's arguments are false.

I have put all the relevant documents online here: https://tonnerbergia.blogspot.com/

I sent a copy of this report and of the file last week to the French president, the prime minister, the minister of the army, the chiefs of the memorial department, etc.

I am hoping that all this will cause a big mess for the incompetent and dishonnest civil servants who took for or so years to write the first official response.

Speaking about French Prime Minister's, I happened to to across Minister Paul Reynaud's wife's wedding ring and made a video about that as well. Quite an incredible story!
