Hobza Posted May 28, 2022 Share #1 Posted May 28, 2022 Hi all. I have a question. I bought this Bronze Star medal - R. J. Hornyak 1960. Why is 1960 there? Did he get it for any action that year???? I found this about him: Ron was a U.S. Marine having served in Korea with the 1st Marine Division, 37th Div. O.A.N.G., U.S Army, 82nd Airborne (Army) , 11th Special Forces Airborne. Can it be an award for the Korean War? or for something in 1960? thanks for your knowledge Lubos
Reforger Posted May 28, 2022 Share #2 Posted May 28, 2022 Could it actually be 1950? Then it would be for actions in Korea. It looks like 1950 to me. If it says 1960 then probably for some other action in that year.
