Cannot seem to find out much information on the Defense Intelligence Agency medals  [DIA].

Anybody have any information as to when they were started and/or ended?

I picked up my first Directors medal, Meritorious Service medal and Exceptional Service medal pre internet from mail order catalogs if that tells you anything.  I never found out much myself but in the age of the internet maybe you will  have better luck.

Cannot find much on the internet or in any of my reference books. 

Been using the makers mark on the pin assembly to try to narrow it down. 

Most US medal companies are not around very long.
