OK, so I have done some research on Solders , Sailors, Marines, going to combat with fix blades. What was available other that bayonets 1905 was as follows. Purchase in PX, BX,,, sears, J.C Whitney, Woolworth, ..

a, Westerns, L71 Shark, knifes

b. Remington's RH 34 (boy scouts) ,   before the MK 1

c. Case XX knifes

 

Then came the MK1, MK2, M3, V42, Cattaraugus 225Q

Can someone clarify this?

Oh boy! You ask alot of questions! Many may chime in here but please get some books and other reference materials.

It will save you making  mistakes like I have.
